Pickstown Museum

The Pickstown Museum recounts the life and times before and after the construction of the Fort Randall Dam between 1946-1953. This unassuming museum in quiet Pickstown will surprise you with many exciting exhibits for children, young adults, and history buffs. With the making of the dam, the culture of the Pickstown Area's was forever shaped with remarkable events, individuals, and drama recorded and preserved by the town's people. Many exhibits and artifacts as well as video presentations are featured and on display. 

The museum is located in the Rainbow Room Complex in Pickstown, which is comprised of the last three original town buildings.
