We are located in Gregory, South Dakota, right along Highway 18. We offer 11 main floor rooms. All rooms are non-smoking and pet-free. We provide wireless internet, cable TV, microwaves, refrigerators, and single-serve coffee makers in each room. All rooms offer two queen sized beds.We are conveniently located near the NEW Avera Gregory Hospital and the Gregory Industrial Park. When you stay with us, you are within walking distance (one mile or less!) of downtown Gregory- be sure to check out the local restaurants and shopping!

About Us
The Sundquist Family welcomes you!
We are Troy and Paula (Zeller) Sundquist. We are the owners and operators of the Gray House
Motel. Just a bit about us: We both grew up around Gregory and graduated from Gregory High
School. We went off to school and then lived in Omaha, NE for 16 years. Troy worked in the
Millwrights Union and Paula as a Registered Vascular Sonographer at various hospitals. In
Omaha, we welcomed our two children, Allison and Aaron.
In 2008, worlds collided as things aligned simultaneously and we moved back to Gregory to raise our children in a smaller environment. We never planned to own a motel, but the Gray House Motel came available for sale. We decided to go into business for ourselves and we made the purchase. Through the
years, we have learned a lot, met so many amazing people, experienced many changes, and
weathered many storms. Troy primarily runs the motel and does some farming. Paula does the
business side of things while working in the area in her Vascular field. The kids are grown and
doing their own things, but you never know when we may wrangle them into helping. We look
forward to meeting you as a new friend or welcoming you as a returning friend.
