Dakota Country Inn & Suites is a 30 room motel located in the small town of Platte, SD. In 2013, Conrad and Virginia DeKam bought the motel. Since purchasing the motel,they have made many changes and upgrades to the motel. All of our rooms have been refreshed with a coat of paint, and the bathroom facilities renewed.
We pride ourselves in the customer service we provide to our customers. For the year 2020, we received recognition from Booking.com for obtaining a rating of 9.4 out of a possible score of 10 from our customers. We're members of the Platte Area Chamber of Commerce, South Dakota Missouri River Tourism, South Dakota Retailers Association, South Dakota Hotel and Lodging Association and a Rooster Booster member of Pheasants Forever.
About Dakota Country Inn & Suites
Our mission is to provide our guests with a clean comfortable stay while they are in the Platte area.
All our rooms are equipped with a refridgerator, microwave, digital cable TV, king or queen beds, windows that open and free WiFi. Each room has its own bathroom facilities including a bath/shower, lavetory and necessary linens.
Common areas include an outside sitting area, onsite clothes washing facilities, free fish/pheasant cleaning facilites, free freezing facilities, free outside grill, free ice, soda dispenser, and a free continental breakfast, with ample parking for your large vehicles and/or trailer, with outside electrical outlets by many of the rooms to plug in your vehicle or battery charger, and a 30 amp electrical outlet by our sign for over the road trucks.
Come stay at our clean comfortable motel. We live onsite to provide our guests with our personal best service. Our motel is an extension of our home. Enjoy small town hospitality free of charge.
