A town you'll want to get out and explore, small-town Burke has some pretty big things happening throughout the seasons like the Burke Stampede Rodeo in July and the Burke Area Farmers Market in the summer (rated the #1 Farmers Market in South Dakota)! Parks and Recreation Areas feature walking trails, fishing, and camping near Burke Lake. There's lots to do at the City Park with a Spash Pad, and new courts for basketball, tennis, pickleball, and volleyball. Don't miss the opportunity to play a round on the lush Burke Golf Course. The area is surrounded by many agricultural businesses, and in town there are some small town shops to grab your neccesities.
