Christmas at the Capitol is a magical experience in the heart of South Dakota's capitol city! A grand Christmas tree as well nearly 100 smaller trees are brought in and decorated by many local and statewide businesses. Throughout the capitol building, Christmas scenes and displays bring the season to life with special themed decor each year. This year's theme is
Through A Child's Eyes. The celebration gets kicked off yearly with a spectaulcar lighting ceremony and continues its festivities with musical events and talent brought from around the state.
